Everett Golson got better each game last year.

Towards the end of season, he was actually improving with each series. They finished the season undefeated. Does anyone really think any quarterback on that roster has a chance to beat him out?

Kelly has made some intriguing decisions with his quarterbacks, but he isn’t stupid. He knows Golson gives that team the best chance to win. And Kiel, even though he’s really immature, was smart enough to recognize that too.

We may not like the kid, but he made the right decision.

First sign of having to compete, with nothing handed to him, and he bolts. Likely to a place where he can resume his quest for a job easily had…

First, he committed to Indiana and then decided to break it. Then, he made a big deal about opening up his recruitment and eventually picking LSU. Finally, he de-commits at the last second from LSU and chooses ND. He was actually expected at LSU in class on Monday and didn’t show up. They didn’t know where he was…so, he handled LSU like an entitled brat.

He then lasts all of half a year before he decided that Golson likely would be tough to beat out and he flees to destination unknown.

The kid looks like a spoiled lightweight. A great physical talent that needs to roll up his sleeves and get to work…without expecting golden boy treatment. High School is over…time to grow up.
