APSome links from around college football on a Tuesday…
- Former Clemson quarterback Willy Korn is now Charleston Southern’s new wide receivers coach.
- John Infante writes why he thinks the unlimited calls recruiting rule won’t get overturned.
- Arizona State is going back to the drawing board to redesign its mascot, Sparky, after backlash over its new design.
- Michigan running back Fitz Toussaint is back in pads, but not hitting just yet.
- The oak trees at Toomer’s Corner will be removed on April 23.
- New Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury would like to play Texas A&M again.
Many Auburn experts and state of Alabama experts were there the last time I saw the trees, the last part of last year. They were not encouraging about the future of the trees then.
I hope what southernpatriots posted when this matter first happened, that a Tuscaloosa arborist/tree company will donate the replacement trees and set them in the ground for Auburn. That would help bring healing.
Texas Tech wants to play A&M again, but Texas are a bunch of wimps? ha. Like alligatorsnapper posted recently, they will wait until Johnny Football is in the NFL, Coach Mack Brown is gone or will once again be able to get the talent/performance from his players, and Texas is assured of a 3 TD win at Austin. smile.
Charleston Southern has a football team? and Willy Korn is already a coach? I didn’t know he even graduated yet.
