LSU coach Les Miles apparently did so well as an NFL draft analyst last year that the NFL Network wants him back again this time around.
Via LSU’s SID, Miles will join the NFL Network again on set along with Stanford coach David Shaw and Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly. Additionally, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin will work in predraft coverage.

LSU will be well represented in this year’s draft, with underclassmen declarations alone in the double digits. A&M’s Luke Joeckel could go No. 1 overall, and Tyler Eiftert and Manti Te’o from Notre Dame could also go in the first round.
Very cool.
In other words, ESPN likes their pet conference to be repre$ented for some free PR during this years draft.
I might tune in for at least a little of that broadcast now. Miles is always entertaining. Pair him with Leach and with Spurrier and there will be some memorable quips!
If he has nothing to do with managing the countdown clock, Les Miles should be fine.

Bravo, sir.

______
He has always been fine. He never had any management of the countdown clock, that was in the hands of an assistant coach and graduate assistant.
@donovandancy …
Guess you missed the part about Miles appearing on the NFL Network’s draft coverage, not ESPN’s. Too anxious to post an SEC slam to catch the fine points, huh?
Wheatgrass shots for everyone on set!
