Johnny Manziel to throw out first pitch for Angels-Rangers

O Brien Award Manziel Football AP

Despite all the h8erz, Johnny Manziel is continuing to live life to tha fullest. Even without the help of social media to document it all.

The Rangers organizations announced Monday that the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback will throw out the ceremonial first pitch next Sunday against the Angels.

As the fairest fairweather Rangers fan, this excites me about as much as something could excite a fairweather baseball fan in April.

This won’t be Manziel’s first appearance at a pro sporting event, though. Manziel was spotted at a  Dallas Mavericks-Miami Heat basketball game late last year.

Who cares? It’s baseball. It’s not like ANY of their game count. Other than another loss on their way to close to 100 other loses.

I think he goes out there and tops Watts’ 73 MPH from the other night!

He apparently was heck of a baseball player and scratch golfer at 11, so should be able to make the plate…73+mph, should be doable. Though is legend overtaking reality…hope not, let the kid have some fun if he is that good…harmless so far.

He is actually going to Skype his throw in from home…this way he won’t miss any more time than he needs to with his tough On-line course schedule.

So NCAA….players can only recieve benefits when they are Heisman Trophy winners?!?!? Seriously….can any player get free admittance to that game? Is the whole team going? Is he throwing the pitch but paying for his ticket???

The millions made by the NCAA and all of their participating schools off amateur athletics is a real joke. It is shameful.

Pay the players. Allow them to get endorsements. It isn’t amateur. Find a solution.

Oh wait we are just focused on trying to make more millions with a stupid playoff system.

    Scam city.
