UMass honors Boston Marathon victims for spring game

Though the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing has been taken into custody, providing a much-needed sense of relief, those affected by the tragic events of earlier this week are still on the minds of many -- including UMass.

The Minutemen will play their spring game today and provide a touching tribute to the victims of the attack. Four players will wear the names Krystle Campbell, Lu Lingzi, Martin Richard, and Sean Collier on their jerseys; captain Rob Blanchflower will wear the hashtag #BostonStrong on his jersey.

You can see the picture of the gesture below, courtesy of UMass athletics.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those affected, directly or indirectly, with the events of earlier this week.
