The Big House holds how many fans? Not 30K or 50K or even 90K but up to about 115K! They do not have a student section, but want to maximize revenue by charging students almost 25% more and not giving them a general admission to the student section but reserved seating and yet the hypocrites want to say this is not greed! Of course it is greed!

I was a college student. Not all college students have wealthy parents (as I didn’t), and with the huge climb in tuition and cost of attending college, the athletic department wants to put on the backs of students an almost 25% price increase. That is nuts!

Come on Big Blue, get a grip and drop this plan. I hope the student body at Michigan and all Michigan alums and fans send emails and letters and telephone calls to get this one stopped.

When you have to use gimmicks, you’re not a top tier conference:
    This means you ACC.

You plan to play in Europe
    You add a partial member
You don’t have a bowl tie-in with a conference champion
The Orange bowl receives the smallest payout of the conference champ games and does not have a prime time kickoff.
Your conference shares a geographic footprint with the SEC.

    Yeah, good luck with that.

Oh, I forgot to mention… Half your membership is ex-Big East.
So guess what? When you are planning you trip to Europe, plan to get treated like the Big East … Which is to say, zero respect in the polls, media and a bunch of Wednesday night games.
