Les Miles AP

Meandering our way through the offseason, a single one-liner at a time…

al.com: Time commitment does not worry coaches as schools prepare to produce content for SEC Network.

Anderson Independent Mail: Summer free time means nervous moments for coaches, leadership opportunities for players.

– Michigan’s Devin Gardner turns to noted quarterback guru George Whitfield as he continues preparing for his first full season as the starter.

Will Muschamp pleased with Jeff Driskel‘s offseason progression.

– Gospel music is part of the soundtrack of Penn State football practices.

– Behavior not encouraged during spring game an encouraging sign for Minnesota.

– Alabama gets a commitment from four-star Texas linebacker Zach Whitley, the sixth verbal of the Tide’s 2014 recruiting class.

– Meanwhile, Oklahoma State added to its 2013 recruiting class with the signing of Mississippi JUCO offensive lineman Colby Hegwood.

– In non-football-related news, TNT basketball sideline reporter Craig Sager got bombed (allegedly) and then photobombed at a Milwaukee hotel last month.
