Hugh Freeze nominated for an Emmy

Okay, so it’s a 2013 Southeast Regional Emmy Awards. But still, you know… offseason and such.

In any case, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze can add “Emmy nominated” in front of his name. Via the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, Freeze is up for an award in the category of Television and Program Specialty Excellence – Sports- Program Feature/Segment for “Under the Lights: Ole Miss Football”.

The feature was a Fox Sports South production and a few other people are included in the nomination.

So, if he wins, does the award go next to the BBVA Compass Bowl trophy or what?
