DE Michael Larrow dismissed by Rutgers

Suspended for the opening few weeks of the 2012 season due to an off-field issue, Michael Larrow (pictured, No. 90) now finds himself on the outside of the Rutgers football program looking.

Head coach Kyle Flood confirmed Monday that the defensive lineman has been dismissed from the Scarlet Knights. The decision was formally handed down May 6, although the fact that Larrow was arrested on an unknown charge or charges certainly didn’t help any chance the player had of returning.

Flood would only say that the dismissal was “for disciplinary reasons.”

Larrow started the first five games of the 2011 season at defensive end before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. He was suspended for the first four games the following season and played in just three games.

In late July of last year, Larrow was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
