Ex-Jayhawk corner stays in Big 12, transfers to Okla. St.

Last December when it was confirmed he was transferring from Kansas, Tyler Patmon tweeted that "[w]herever the Lord takes me for my last year of college ball I’ll be thankful no matter what.”

Apparently, The Big Football Fan in the Sky has deemed Stillwater to be the most suitable destination for the cornerback as, in a press release, Oklahoma State announced that Patton has transferred into the Cowboys football program. Because the player graduated from KU in May, he will be eligible to play for OSU immediately in 2013.

This season will be Patmon’s final year of eligibility.

Patmon started 28 of the 35 games in which he played during his time with the Jayhawks, including all 12 in 2012. He tied for the team lead in interceptions last year with three and finished fourth in tackles with 58, while also being credited with four tackles for loss and a sack.
