Utah State adds former Vols DB

Daniel Gray

Closing in on a month after saying he would be transferring to Utah State, former Tennessee cornerback Daniel Gray has signed his grant-in-aid with the Aggies.

Utah State made the announcement on Friday. Gray must sit out the 2013 season per NCAA transfer rules and will have three years of college eligibility remaining beginning in 2014.

He’ll join his former high school teammates Travis Reynolds and Bruce Natson, both wide receivers.

Gray played in eight games as a true freshman for the Vols last season, starting one of those contests.  He was a three-star member of UT’s 2012 recruiting class
