And in Wisconsin news not involving attrition in the defensive secondary, the Badgers have announced a home-and-home series with Washington State.
It’s more of a modification, though.
The series is scheduled to take place in the not-too-distant future of 2022 and ’23, with Wazzu heading to Madison in the former year before hosting the Badgers the following year. The games are actually rescheduled from an original series that was set to take place in 2014 and ’15.
The Cougars will instead play Rutgers during those dates. The first game in that series will be held in Seattle at CenturyLink Field on Aug. 29, 2014 with a Sept. 12, 2015 date at Rutgers. Wisconsin, on the other hand, has some big non-conference games against Alabama (2015) and LSU (2014; TBD date).
Wisconsin owns a 2-0 record all time against Washington State with the most recent win coming in 2007.
