In May, it was announced that Michigan defensive back Marvin Robinson was one of two Wolverine defenders to leave the team for unspecified reasons. At the time, it wasn’t clear where the backup safety would end up.
Consider that cleared up. Reportedly.
Mlive.com reports that Robinson (pictured center) will transfer to Ferris State of the Division II ranks, where he’ll join former Wolverines linebacker Kaleb Ringer.
Robinson appeared in 28 games over his career and started against Notre Dame in 2011. He tallied 27 tackles and a fumble recovery during that period. Because of where Robinson is transferring, he’ll be able to play immediately.
