Happy Independence Day from CFT

Old Glory AP

And, yes, this may or may not be, but definitely is, an excuse to write up another post on what will likely be a slow Fourth of July.

Oh, there will be grilling and adult beverages today — that’s what celebrating ‘Merica’s birthday is all about right? — but we’ll be dropping in periodically to make sure the offseason fodder doesn’t build up too much.

And while you’re out there enjoying yourself this Independence Day, we ask that you take a moment or two or 100 to realize, despite whatever troubles you may see in it, just how terrific this here country really is. We’re extremely fortunate to call the United States our home.

With that, have fun, be safe, and for goodness sakes make sure you’re pointing the Roman candles away from the gas tank (which sort of goes along with the “be safe” part).

Happy Fourth of July, y’all!

A Happy Independence Day to all CFT posters and all Americans!

We hope you will be family and friends. We will be cooking a feast and making homemade ice creams (watermelon, pomegranate, mango, and of course French vanilla). We wish you all the best and safest holiday!

If you don’t already fly your American flag proudly, put it out today! There is so much of which we can be proud and happy about this country. We truly enjoy living in the greatest Constitution-based federal republic in history, as well as the best country on earth.

If I am independent from CFT then why do I feel the need to check in at least once a week even in the off season?

My name is pricecube and I suffer from CFT dependence.
