On the heels of the dismissal of two players this week, Kentucky has taken yet another hit to its roster.
The school confirmed Friday night that running back Josh Clemons sustained an Achilles tendon injury during workouts, confirming a previous report by Kyle Tucker of the Louisville Courier-Journal. An MRI should reveal the severity of the injury by Monday.
This is not Clemons’ first injury with the Wildcats. He suffered a season-ending knee injury midway through the 2011 season, his freshman year in which he rushed for 279 yards and two touchdowns, and missed all last season recovering.
