Sooners DB cited after run-in with motorcycle cop

And that would be a run-in of the literal kind.

Oklahoma defensive back Kass Everett (pictured, No. 23), the Daily Oklahoman reported, was cited after colliding with a motorcycle police officer Friday afternoon in Norman.  The officer was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, although there’s no word on the extent of his injuries.

“Was anyone out there to witness that today?: Everett wrote on his Twitter account. “I hope that officer is okay. I’ll be leaving the ER soon. I’m okay.”

Everett was ultimately cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.

In 2012, his first season with the Sooners after transferring in from the JUCO level last February, Everett appeared in 11 games.
