— Ohio State will lose an incoming freshman for the season because of a blood clot issue.

— Reinstated LSU running back Jeremy Hill is remorseful for his “selfish decision.”

— All four ex-Vanderbilt players have now turned themselves into police in connection to a sex crime case.

— While it remains to be seen if Jameis Winston will become a star on the field, he’s already a star in front of the microphones.

— A former NCAA enforcement official says Texas A&M should sideline Manziel if the NCAA investigation is still going by the start of the season. Yeah, good luck with that.

— USC’s quarterback battle is now a two-man race.

    The Manziel piece is interesting. The writing flows poorly but the information is good.
