Report: QB Richard Lagow transferring from UConn to Okla. St.

Yesterday, Richard Lagow confirmed via Twitter that he would be transferring from UConn in order to be closer to his family in Plano, Texas.

A day later, it appears that’s exactly what he’s done and extremely short order.

According to Damon Sayles of ESPN.com, Lagow has decided to transfer to Oklahoma State and continue his collegiate playing career. Sayles confirmed the information with the player himself, who seemed to verify the move by retweeting Sayles announcing his decision.

UConn has not yet announced Lagow’s departure, and OSU has yet to confirm the quarterback’s addition to the Cowboys.

Lagow was a three-star member of UConn’s 2013 recruiting class. While he said he was leaving to be closer to family, he also intimated that the logjam at his position played a role.
