San Jose State adds future games with Auburn, BYU, too

Ron Caragher

Earlier today, we noted that Oregon State had added San Jose State to its future schedule.  A short time later, the Spartans confirmed that series as well as two additional ones.

In the continuation of a series of home-and-home meetings, SJSU has extended its agreement with BYU.  The two teams will play November 7, 2015, in San Jose and on October 28, 2017 in Provo.

The Spartans hold the series lead on the Cougars, winning 10 of the previous 16 matchups.

Additionally, SJSU announced two future games against Auburn on The Plains.  Those two games are scheduled for September 6, 2014, and October 3, 2015, at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

That AU series will mark the first time in the program’s history it has faced SEC schools on the road in back-to-back seasons.  The 2014 game will also be the first between the two football programs.

Congratulations for working on putting together a credible schedule which is something Boise State won’t do as they know they would be exposed as a team that can’t beat the big boy schools. They are like the school bully that beats up on the weak/small kids and thinks it makes them look strong.
