After a career that’s included one-year tenures at Rice and Pittsburgh, it appears Todd Graham is ready to put down some longterm coaching roots and please stop laughing.
According to the Arizona Republic, Arizona State and Graham are currently involved in talks that would extend the head coach’s contract and, presumably, include a bump in pay. Graham’s current deal pays hims a little over $2 million annually and runs through the 2016 season.
“We are having positive discussions with Coach Graham” is all an ASU spokesperson would tell the paper in regard to Graham’s contract situation.
In his first season at the school in 2012, Graham’s Sun Devils went 8-5 and the program won its first bowl game since 2005.
