Pachall already ruled out of TCU’s game vs. Texas Tech

Not only did Casey Pachall not return to TCU’s win over Southeastern Louisiana, but it could be a while before the quarterback returns, period.

Pachall suffered an injury to his left forearm late in the second quarter of the win and was replaced for the remainder of the game by Trevone Boykin.  The injury occurred at the end of an eight-yard run.

Afterwards, head coach Gary Patterson very quickly acknowledged the player “won’t play next week” in the Big 12 opener against Texas Tech Thursday in Lubbock.

Patterson said Pachall’s arm was x-rayed, but declined to divulge the specific nature of the injury. “Probably not good,” Patterson said about the seriousness of the injury.
