Everybody seems to be excited about the big game coming up on Saturday in College Station between No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 1 Alabama.
And now one prominent player has gone on record about the game’s outcome.
“Honestly? I got A&M,” said Boyd, whose No. 3 Tigers have Saturday off. “A lot of people say Saban won’t be beat twice; it’s at A&M. It’s going to be a competitive game. It’s going to be a fun game. I’m going to watch it. It’s going to be an intriguing game.”
It’s no wonder Boyd is picking the Aggies. After all, both Clemson and Texas A&M run high-powered spread offenses and are used to scoring points in bunches. Given how well Clemson’s offense has fared against the likes of Georgia and LSU recently, and the fact that A&M confounded Alabama last season, it makes sense that Boyd would relate more to what the Aggies have to offer.
Of course, it’s a lot easier to talk when you don’t have to actually play the Tide, isn’t it?
