Flooding not affecting Wyoming-Northern Colorado game

While flooding has postponed Colorado’s home game against Fresno State, there will be no postponement of Wyoming’s home game against Northern Colorado. The FCS program, located in Greeley, Colorado (about an hour east of Boulder), won’t delay it’s travel north to Laramie, Wyoming, for Saturday’s game. Wyoming sent out a press release to confirm there will be no changes to the kickoff time for the Saturday afternoon game but there were a number of changes to pre-game festivities.

Thunderstorms and rain are expected to moving through the area right around the start of the game, but the inclement weather is far less threatening than what is being experienced south in Colorado. The same weather has been causing a number of football schedules to be altered around Northern Colorado’s home in Greeley, Colorado, but the school had every intention on following through on travel plans to leave for Laramie, Wyoming Friday afternoon according to The Coloradoan.

Wyoming is scheduled to kick off with Northern Colorado at 2 p.m. Mountain Time.

UPDATE (5:40 P.M.): As I have been informed, Colorado State’s home game against Cal Poly is also going on as scheduled.

@afrancis… you are a jerk, sir… I guarantee the 35,000 fans (including me) that will drive to Laramie and eat, drink and enjoy the game care.

I guess you think any game not including Alabama or some top 10 game isn’t worth playing?

    You are wrong…
