Saturday night, a very scary scene in Salt Lake City unfolded as Storm Woods was taken off the field via stretcher following a violent collision that left the Oregon State running back, for a minute, motionless.
Woods gave a thumbs-up as he was being taken off the field and, thankfully, it’s all thumbs skyward moving forward.
In a press release, OSU confirmed that Woods suffered a concussion as a result of the hit during the Beavers’ win over Utah. The diagnosis came after Woods was taken via ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment. Woods was able to fly back with his team to Corvallis after the road game.
As for Woods’ availability moving forward, the release stated the following:
Through three games, Woods leads the Beavers in rushing with 152 yards and two touchdowns.
