Buckeyes lose starting S Christian Bryant to broken ankle

Smacking the podium in frustration during his post-game talk with the media, Urban Meyer announced that his defense has lost a rather valuable member of its defense.

Starting safety Christian Bryant, Meyer said, suffered a broken ankle in the 31-24 win over Wisconsin Saturday night.  The true senior was transported to a local hospital, where he will undergo surgery to repair the damage.

Bryant is expected to miss the remainder of the 2013 season.

The loss of Bryant is a significant one for a Buckeyes defense that came into the 2013 season lacking experienced starters.

During his time in Columbus, Bryant has played in 36 games and has started 26 times, including all 12 games in 2012 and the first five in 2013.  Bryant is currently third on the team in tackles with 22 tackles, and has been credited with one interceptions, two pass breakups and three passes defensed.

His backup on the UW depth chart was listed as Ron Tanner.

Not good for Ohio State. With Bryant, their pass defense was not very impressive against the Badgers who came up just short in the game. If not for a few calls/bounces, that game coulda gone either way.

Smacking the podium for dramatic effect is more like it. Everyone knows he’s a total fraud…

It’s now time for Scott May of ESPN to shut up and realize Ohio State is one of the best teams in the nation. It proves he doesn’t know anything about college football.

OSU one of the best teams in the country? At what, playing the softest schedule? You’re right about that. Other than that, they are overrated. Typical Suckeyes fan thinking their team is the greatest.

Bucknuts are way over-rated. Barely beat an avg Badger team in C-bus. Johnny Football would throw for 600 yards vs. that D.
Georgia played 3 top 10 teams in their first 4 games ? By end of season, Bucknuts will have played probably zero top 15 teams. Michigan will lose a few and fall out of top 20. No one else in Big 10/12 is even close top a top 20 team. Northwestern is just like Bucknuts. Played 4 cupcakes and way over-rated.
America wants ‘Bama – Oregon in BCS Championship, not a cupcake playing over-rated Big 10/12 team.

The only thing worse than a Florida fan is an OSU fan. What a bunch of delusional numbnuts. Any of the top 5 SEC teams would knock your dicks in the dirt. Have fun beating up on your sacrificial lambs, club your baby seals and go 11-0. But also have fun watching 2 other teams play for the championship.

    Buck the Fuckeyes!!!
