Video: Tony Dungy says no thanks to USC’s overtures

While he wasn’t exactly on the radar to begin with according to most observers, you can apparently cross him off the list as to who will be the next head coach at USC.

Speaking on the Dan Patrick Show Monday, former NFL head coach and current NBC Sports analyst Tony Dungy confirmed that “representatives” of USC had reached out to him/his agent in an attempt to gauge his interest in the jobs. Dungy, who has been out of coaching since 2008, stated that he had no interest in the Trojans job and highlighted his own lack of coaching experience at the collegiate level.

In fact, Dungy, whose son Eric is a junior wide receiver at Oregon, reiterated once again that he’s done with coaching, period.
