Saturday, Cameron Stingily gave himself a career-high performance as a birthday present.
A day later, he gave himself a bit of an embarrassing legal headache.
According to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle, the Northern Illinois running back was arrested on campus on an active warrant Sunday afternoon. The reason for the warrant? Stingily had failed to appear for a court appearance related to a charge of driving without a valid license.
A police report stated that Stingily was released after posting a $225 bond.
In a 38-24 win over Kent State Saturday, and on his birthday, Stingily ran 37 times for 269 yards. He is currently 16th in the country in rushing yards per game (115.2)
