Head coach Charlie Weis of 2-3 Kansas announced on Tuesday that he has decided to shake up his program a bit by rearranging responsibilities among his coaching staff.
It’s doubtful these moves will have any affect on the quality of play at Kansas, but at least Weis is no longer calling his team a ‘pile of crap.’
Quarterbacks coach Ron Powlus will be in charge of the passing game, tight ends coach Jeff Blasko will take over the running game and Weis will oversee the offense and help coach skill positions.
Weis also said he wants to receive input from the offensive coaches and have their ideas be the base for the game plan, rather than formulating the majority of it himself.

What is looks like from here is that Weis is tired of shouldering all the blame for his lousy team and would like to start spreading it around a bit.
