Jameis Winston not worried about Clemson noise

Clemson intends to set a noise record when it welcomes Florida State to Death Valley on Saturday, but ‘Noles quarterback Jameis Winston doesn’t expect to be fazed by the raucous atmosphere.

“Even Boston College, when we were down…those fans were on top of us,” Winston said, via the Orlando Sentinel. “I know it’s not going to be like Clemson…of course it’s going to be loud. But we’re not playing against the crowd. We’re playing against the Clemson Tigers. I don’t think we’ll let a crowd defeat us.”

Winston credited his confidence in dealing with the crowd to coach Jimbo Fisher bringing him on the road last year even though he redshirted. Or maybe it’s just that he’s Jameis Winston, and not a whole lot rattles him.

Clemson is hoping to set the noise record on its first defensive series of the game, though, so we’ll fine out pretty quickly if Winston’s confidence holds up against 80,000+ screaming fans.

Yeah. BC is not comparable to Clemson Jameis.

If Jamies plays like he usually plays on the road (5 TD average) the crowd noise won’t matter.

I sure wish the U had a guy like Jameis right now.

I have a better chance of Kate Upton showing up at my door asking to try out new hummer techniques than Jameis Winston has of throwing for 5 td’s against Clemson.
