Michigan adds UCF, others to future schedules

The Big House Night AP

Michigan used Hump Day as an opportunity to announce three future games against three different FBS programs.

On Sept. 10, 2016, the Wolverines will take on UCF in the Big House in what will serve as the first-ever meeting between the two football programs.  In conjunction with the addition that game, a contest with Ball State, Ball State game, slated for Sept. 24, 2016, will be moved to a to-be-determined- date in the future.

Moving the game against the MAC school will give UM a bye week ahead of what will be the start of the first nine-game Big Ten season.

Additionally, the school announced a Sept. 16, 2017, game against Air Force and a Sept. 15, 2018, matchup with SMU.  The Wolverines have faced the former on two previous occasions, the latter just once.

Both of those games will be played in Ann Arbor as well.

Oh no please not UFC and ball state. We will really have to work hard to not win by 30

candyman…. so far, that statement is not true.

Akron… hasn’t won a game but almost beat us
UCONN… has won 1 game, but almost beat us

There should be no arrogance with this Michigan team. It’s a dog fight every week and I’m starting to grow weary with the ‘things we’re going to correct’ speech.

It’s time to be 95% correct and playing sound Michigan football. 3 years is enough to get there.

    GO BLUE!

Yeaaaaaaah…S Florida, Navy, & Bowling Green must have booked those weekends already. I notice there was no rush to reschedule with Coach Saban & Bama.

Maybe you guys could have trey burke come back and put on a clinic showing how to chuck up the step back 45 footer. That was pure skill worthy of a halftime show.

By the way, when you say “we” does that mean you bought your michigan sweatshirts at walmart?

    Roll damn tide.

Dude UCF would probably have a better chance of winning by 30 this year. They have played at least as strong of a strength of schedule and looked more impressive.

What’s funny is that UCF would probably smash Michigan right now.

Why on earth is Michigan making press releases about this? Other programs are scheduling good games with AQ conference opponents. This is not the type of game to schedule if you want to be taken seriously as far as playoffs are concerned. I apologize to UCF fans for any offense as I am impressed with the way your program has come up in recent years, but right now UCF is the type of program you schedule when Virginia Tech or UCLA backs out.

Michigan had to squeak by to beat Akron and u conn and Indiana. This program is irrelevant.
