While No. 15 Oklahoma knocked off No. 10 Texas Tech, 38-30, on Saturday in Norman, it got some bad news when it learned that fullback Trey Millard tore ligaments in his knee.
Sooners head coach Bob Stoops said the senior will have surgery ‘in a few weeks’ and that the whole team was ‘crushed’ by it.
Millard is one of the best fullbacks in college football and has proven to be a versatile weapon in the OU offense. Look for junior Aaron Ripkowski to fill in for him the rest of the way.
