USC wide receiver Marqise Lee, who has already missed two of USC’s last three games, is questionable for the Trojans’ Friday night matchup with Oregon State in Corvallis on Friday night.
Lee, the defending Biletnikoff Award winner, got hurt in the second half of USC’s loss to Arizona State in game five. The sprained left knee forced the junior to miss USC’s next game against Arizona but he did return to action against Notre Dame.
He then re-aggravated his knee against the Irish, which knocked him out of last Saturday’s Utah game.
The Trojan receiving corps managed just fine without him against the Utes as sophomore Nelson Agholor continued to step up and senior De’Von Flournoy had a career day.
With USC struggling to get bowl eligible, it might behoove Lee — a future first-round pick — to mend rather than try to come back too soon.
