Louisville started the year as the only team picking up much national pub in the American this season. Now Central Florida has emerged as the team to beat in the conference. Tonight Houston is looking to turn some eyes around the conference. The Cougars, at 6-1 overall and 3-0 in American play, lead South Florida 21-10 at the half.

Houston quarterback John O’Korn started his night going completed 10 of 13 for 104 yards and two touchdowns on Houston’s first two possessions of the night. Kenneth Farrow and Xavier Maxwell each caught a touchdown pass from O’Korn in the first quarter.

South Florida is playing with their fourth different starting quarterback this season. Freshman Mike White led the Bulls to their first offensive touchdown in 13 quarters when he tossed a short pass to Mike McFarland.

Houston will look to pull away in the second half. The Cougars average 18.2 points per game in the second half this season, but they may already have this game in the bag. South Florida has averaged just 13.2 points per game this season, although the offense has looked more formidable tonight.
