Less than a week after losing someone dear to him, Dak Prescott will turn to the playing field in his time of grief.
The Mississippi State quarterback’s mom, Peggy Prescott, lost her long battle with colon cancer last Sunday morning. Initially there was uncertainty as to whether Prescott would be available for the Texas A&M game today, but the sophomore returned to practice Wednesday.
On his radio show, head coach Dan Mullen confirmed that Prescott will play against the Aggies. It was not specified as to whether he or Tyler Russell will get the start.
Prescott has started six of eight games this season, including the last two.
