Just as Jordan Leggett was becoming even more involved in Clemson’s offense, he’s gone and done, well, something.
The Tigers announced Wednesday that the true freshman has been suspended for tonight’s game against Georgia Tech. “Unspecified violations of team rules,” of course, was the reason given for the punitive measure.
Orangeandwhite.com noted that, in the past two games, Leggett had played a season-high in snaps. As it is, Leggett’s 10 receptions for 89 yards are second among Tiger tight ends, while his two receiving touchdowns are tied for third among all players.
A three-star member of Clemson’s 2013 recruiting class, Leggett was rated as the No. 13 tight end in the country coming out of Navarre, Fla. He was an early enrollee and participated in spring practice.
