Shoulder injury sidelines Washington QB Keith Price

Washington quarterback Keith Price did not return to Friday night’s game at UCLA due to a shoulder injury.

According to a sideline report by ESPN, Price attempted to throw some passes before the second half got underway but was in too much pain to return in the second half. Price had been hit hard and landed on his shoulder at the end of the first half before the Huskies attempted a late field goal. Price later returned to the sideline out of uniform.

Price was 10 of 18 for 181 yards and a touchdown in the first half against the Bruins.

Cyler Miles has come in to lead the offense in the second half. In five games this season, in relief of Price, Miles has passed for 101 yards and one touchdown on six of 10 pass attempts. Miles led the Huskies to a quick touchdown to help the Huskies take advantage of a fumble to start the second half. Miles tossed his first career Pac 12 touchdown pass on a short gain to Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

UCLA leads Washington 27-24 early in the second half.
