Report: injury to sideline Pitt WR Devin Street

As Pittsburgh closes out a disappointing first season in the ACC regular season later this afternoon, it’ll do so without one of the key pieces of its offensive puzzle if one report is accurate.

Pitt sideline reporter Gregg Giannotti tweeted Friday afternoon that wide receiver Devin Street has been ruled out of the home game against Miami today. There’s been no official word from the team on Street’s availability.

Street has been dealing with an ankle injury that knocked him out of last week’s game against Syracuse. It’s not, though, expected to impact his availability for a postseason game.

Through 11 games, Street is second on the team with 51 receptions for 854 yards. He leads the Panthers with seven touchdown catches and a 16.7 yards-per-catch average.
