Bryce Petty and his ridiculous touchdown-to-interception ratio are returning to Baylor next fall.
Petty told a Waco-area TV station on Thursday he plans to come back for his senior season, ending any speculation he may bolt for the NFL after a fantastic junior year.
With one more regular season game left and then a bowl game, Petty has thrown 28 touchdowns to just two interceptions. His 323.4 passing yards per game rank seventh among FBS quarterbacks, and he’s No. 1 nationally with 11.2 yards per attempt.
Petty wasn’t projected as a first-round pick in CBS Sports’ latest mock draft.
