FWAA announces 2013 All-American team

‘Tis the season for All-American teams and the Football Writers Association of America — one of the five All-American teams recognized by the NCAA — announced theirs on Wednesday.

Here’s the first-team:

OFFENSE

QB – Jameis Winston, Florida State

RB – Ka’Deem Carey, Arizona; Andre Williams, Boston College

TE – Jace Amaro, Texas Tech

WR – Mike Evans, Texas A&M; Brandin Cooks, Oregon State

OL – Cyrus Kouandjio, Alabama; David Yankey, Stanford; Bryan Stork, Florida State; Jake Matthews, Texas A&M; Cyril Richardson, Baylor.

DEFENSE

DL – Michael Sam, Missouri; Trent Murphy, Stanford; Aaron Donald, Pittsburgh; Marcus Smith, Louisville.

LB – Khalil Mack, Buffalo; Chris Borland, Wisconsin; C.J. Mosley, Alabama

    For anyone that cares

    FSU and Bama led the way with 3 and A&M and Stanford each had 2. No other school had more than 1.

    NO WAY Hyde is over either of those backs…

    In fact I would put Tre Mason over Hyde too…
