Ohio State defensive end Noah Spence did not fly with his team to South Florida to prepare for the Orange Bowl, as he was left behind to deal with ‘issues’, according to several media reports.

“[Spence] didn’t fly down with us,” Urban Meyer told reporters after the team’s flight landed. “He’s working through some personal issues at home.”

Meyer didn’t provide any details on what issues Spence was dealing with, but he did say there was a chance that the sophomore would play in the Orange Bowl against Clemson.

Spence leads the Buckeye defensive line with 7.5 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss.

Thoughts and prayers. Hope he can get things sorted out in time to play.

Noah Spence’s absence is a large loss for OSU but obviously there are bigger things going on in this man’s life that he needs to focus on! I do hope he is able to get things straightened out whatever the issue!

Everyone from Ohio State, whether the players, fans, and even the few actual alumni have issues

Leave it up to rude and tasteless haters to make a comment trashing Ohio State fans and players. This story is about a young man going through some personal issues, not about the team, coaches or fans. Please go troll in some other chat room or post somewhere else.
