LSU defensive tackle Ego Ferguson has been suspended and will not play in the Outback Bowl against Iowa on Wednesday, according to a report on Tuesday from Nola.com.
No reason was given for the suspension, but academics were supposedly not the culprit.
Whatever the case, it looks like Ferguson will head to the NFL draft, along with junior wide out Odell Beckham.
Ferguson is fifth on LSU with 58 tackles, along with 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack. He’s likely to be taken in the first couple rounds of the next NFL draft.
