Seth Littrell officially announced as UNC’s new OC

A handful of days after reports surfaced saying it was a done deal, North Carolina’s hiring of a new coordinator is officially a done deal.

The school announced Friday that, as expected, Seth Littrell has been hired as the Tar Heels’ new offensive coordinator.  Littrell will replace Blake Anderson, who left to become the head coach at Arkansas State last month.

Last year, IU was ninth in total offense (508.5 yards per game) and 16th in scoring offense (38.4 points per game).

Littrell served as Indiana’s coordinator each of the last two seasons.  He was also in charge of tight ends and fullbacks.  Prior to his time with the Hoosiers, Littrell spent time on coaching staffs at Arizona and Texas Tech.

Indiana had previously announced that Kevin Johns would be promoted to coordinator to replace Littrell.
