Four-star athlete forced to delay decision due to snow

Four-star athlete Kalen Ballage of Falcon (Co.) High was forced to delay his signing ceremony on Wednesday when his school was closed due to heavy snow.

Ballage, a soft commit to Arizona State, will instead sign on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. ET. He is also considering UCLA, a school he visited last weekend, as well as Nebraska and Colorado.

At 6-foot-2, 216 pounds, Ballage could play any number of positions, including running back, receiver and safety, but will most likely end up as an outside linebacker.

He is rated at the No. 2 player in the state of Colorado by Rivals.com and the 133rd-rated player nationally.
