Penn State produced a hype video for its coaches

It’s a whole new era at Penn State.

If that wasn’t made clear with the hiring of James Franklin, this video about the Nittany Lions coaching staff should do the trick.

No longer is Penn State resting on its laurels as it did for much of the late-Joe Paterno era. Franklin and Co. are ready to go all-out, it appears.

I am psu guy it’s noted. This is the team that had a generic wrapper as a uniform. The more they try disassociate themselves from jopa the more damage they do. Get back to Psu football whats next the spread.

The philosophy is the same as all quality teams – the difference will be the quality of the players and their individual ability to execute. PSU will be a competitive team in the near term. Coach Franklin’s job is to move them into the top competitive level. It’s possible.

Amazing – the coaches all have Twitter handles – Penn State might finally enter the 21st century.

No reason to be in a hurry about it. Hell, it’s only been 28 years since their last big win when they beat Miami and Testaverde in the Fiesta Bowl. Seven years after Vinnie retired as the oldest QB ever to win an NFL game is plenty fast enough.

I used to even root for the Lions, several decades ago when they were relevant and there was anything worth rooting for. Way to go, PSU.

Protect Sandusky U deserves the death penalty for all of their coaches and administrators knowingly actively enabling a serial child predator. Joe Paterno is burning in eternal hellfire for his unforgivable complicity in this heinous scandal. May the Nittany Stepping Stones never win another single game.

Meat Carroll-nothing but DEAD MEAT between the ears! Get used to reality, ALL Penn state whiny haters. THE BEAST OF THE EAST IS BAAAAAck! And there’s NOTHING you can do to stop PENN STATE! Live with it!

apkyletexas, STILL can’t get over the fact that Penn State beat Texas in EVERY bowl game they’ve ever played against each other. Texas has great talent and the most money of any program in america and STILL can’t win. How lame is that?

Exciting, modern new era of Penn State football. If James Franklin is as good of a football coach as he is a motivational speaker, Penn State will rock the nation!

In Paterno era, I was always hoping coaches, especially Jay Paterno, would not screw up the talent. It was amazing how many highly rated QBs they had under Jay who digressed instead of getting better. It must be exciting for players who have an energized coaching staff. I have felt in the latter years, the coaching staff attitude was that the players should be grateful to play at Penn State due to past accomplishments, not for what they may accomplish together as a team.

Best of luck to Jay at the Used Car Lot.

That would be relevant if I were a Texas fan, but I’m not.
