Lawsuit against Nick Saban’s daughter thrown out

A lawsuit filed against Alabama head coach Nick Saban’s daughter has been dismissed by a Tuscaloosa County judge.

The honorable James H. Roberts ruled on Wednesday that Kristen Saban’s physical confrontation with sorority sister Sarah Grimes back in 2010 was justified.

Grimes had claimed that Saban injured her during the tussle. She was seeking financial redress for her injuries. But the judge said that evidence indicated that Grimes initiated the fight and that Saban had the right to defend herself under Alabama’s “stand your ground” law.

Saban’s lawyer said that the family refused to pay “hush money” to avoid bad publicity over the incident.

Are you surprised it was thrown out! If you were then you aren’t from Alabama.

Hilarious ! Any judge in Alabama that ruled otherwise would have been run out on a rail regardless!

I don’t care anything about Saban’s daughter one way or the other, but if you read any details on this you’d know it was a nuisance suit. The sorority sister was angry that Saban’s daughter hadn’t invited her to some event, showed up outside the Saban girl’s room and started screaming at her and threatening her. Yeah … that would make me want to invite her along

That’s the problem with being rich. Everyone wants a piece of the pie.

What in the hell is a trailerhood?

Kiffen is also a millionaire, so I don’t see a trailer park in his immediate future. Not a very good attempt at humor.

Calling a young lady a whore? A lot of class being shown in CFT tonight. You may hate Saban, but attacking his kids is a bit low.

Dhardy- some times a person goes to open a can of whoop ass and spill it all over themselves.

Another Stand your ground state? I guess the girl was lucky Saban’s daughter didn’t shoot her.

I’m an Lsu fan. I think Saban is the devil. However this sounds like a lowlife trying to exhort money from a rich daddy. Glad the ‘sorority girls’ scheme didn’t work.

macgardner there are 36 states with stand your ground laws.
