FSU’s Nick O’Leary again involved in motorcycle accident

Nick O'Leary AP

Last July, Florida State All-American Nick O’Leary was involved in what was described as a spectacular motorcycle accident that was caught on video.  Just over eight months later, and sans a tape, it’s lather, rinse and repeat for the talented tight end.

Wednesday evening, head coach Jimbo Fisher confirmed reports that had surfaced that O’Leary was involved in a motorcycle accident.  As a result of the accident, O’Leary will miss the remainder of spring practice with unspecified injuries.

From the sounds of it, O’Leary was — again — lucky to walk away with his life.

I’m thinking that, in the future, the grandson of Jack Nicklaus might want to seriously consider a mode of transportation with at least four wheels underneath him.

That said, O’Leary is expected to full recover well ahead of the start of summer camp a couple of months down the road.

And, for those who didn’t see O’Leary’s first accident, click play on the video below.

We used to line up against him in high school when he was at Dwyer. Dude is dumb as a box of rocks. We would say some real insulting shit about his intelligence. Rich kid, stupid kid. Further, you can’t fix stupid.

He was speeding the first time, too, and still giving motorcyclists a bad name.

He was probably running away from a teammate who was trying to shoot him over a stolen ATM card, or maybe his QB was on the prowl looking for another victim!

Another theory is that he was rushing off to see Jimbo about his paycheck…..

I’ve always been a fan of the Golden Bear, but his grandson seems to have some entitlement issues. Jack needs to get out his 3-wood and have a “say hello to my little friend” moment with Nick.

He must think he has nine lives.
