Illinois wrapped up spring practices earlier this month. That is probably a good thing because quarterbacks Wes Lunt and Reilly O’Toole are probably getting ready to hit the road on a concert tour.
You see, the two quarterbacks were given microphones for the Illinois spring game a couple of weeks ago, and cameras caught the two singing to the Backstreet Boys while working through various passing drills on the field. The two, mostly O’Toole, go in and out singing along to “I Want It That Way” while working through passing drills and moving up and down the field.
These two may be competing for the starting job at Illinois, but moments like this remind you of the comradeship that goes into the quarterback position.
