Colorado State QB injured while moving couch

Moving a couch really is no easy task, even for football players. Just ask Colorado State quarterback Garrett Grayson.

Grayson injured his left clavicle while moving a couch and had to undergo surgery to ensure he will be ready to return over the summer for conditioning workouts with the Rams. Colorado State head coach Jim McElwain said Grayson suffered the injury Friday. Fortunately for the Grayson, he throws with his right hand and shoulder.

Grayson led the Rams in passing last season with 3,696 yards and 23 touchdowns with 11 interceptions over 14 games, including the wild come-from-behind victory in the New Mexico Bowl against Washington State. The passing yardage and touchdown total are school records for Colorado State. As long as he is back and ready to workout with the team over the summer, there should be little cause for alarm regarding his status for the upcoming season.

At least this couch was not on fire, right?
