Ex-Fresno State HC in play for Ga. Tech opening?

Pat Hill AP

Late last week it was reported that Dave Walkosky had abruptly left Paul Johnson‘s coaching staff at Georgia Tech.

A couple of days later, Johnson could have a very experienced replacement in mind.

According to CoachingSearch.com, former Fresno State head coach Pat Hill “could enter the mix” to replace the special teams coordinator. Hill was fired by Fresno State in December of 2011 after spending 15 seasons as the program’s leader.

The past two seasons, Hill served as the offensive line coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

Walkosky spent two seasons with the Yellow Jackets. There was no reason given for his unexpected departure.
