Reserve LB to transfer out of Boise State

Another day, yet another FBS player moving on for what he hopes are greener playing pastures.

The latest to do as much is Andrew Pint, who confirmed to the Idaho Statesman Saturday that he has decided to transfer out of the Boise State football program. It appears the opportunity for more playing time was the impetus in his decision.

“I just want to get a fresh start somewhere that I can make a big impact,” the linebacker wrote in a text message to the paper.

Pint was a two-star member of the Broncos’ 2012 recruiting class coming out of high school in Highlands Ranch, Colo. After redshirting as a true freshman, Pint played in three games and was credited with three tackles.

The kid is a two-star talent and he wants to go someplace where he can make a big impact? How about a DII or NAIA program?

Perhaps Boise State is crumbling, but losing a guy who is that low on the depth chart is not evidence of decline. Keep on trollin’!
